How To Understand Chakra Meditation
by Trevor John
When it comes to Chakra Meditation a person needs to understand fully what the chakras in their body are. With this form of meditation a person needs to learn to focus on the different charka energies within their body to help them achieve a sense of calm and healing. In this article we will be taking a closer look at the 7 different charka energies which are found in different parts of the body and which are involved within a specific area of a person's consciousness. The Chakras are as follows:-
Crown Chakra
Located at the top of the head and is closely associated with our brains and nervous system. This one is concerned with the energies relating to empathy and our perception of unity or separation from others.
Brow Chakra
Located on a person's forehead and is associated with both a person's temples and forehead and is associated with the energies relating to extra sensory perception (ESP) as well as with a person's own inner spirit.
Throat Chakra
Located at the base of the person's throat and is associated also with not just the throat but also the neck, arms and hands on a person's body. This particular one is closely associated to the way we hear things along with they way we express ourselves and they way in which we receive things that are being sent to us through signals from others. Plus it is closely associated with a person's own intuition.
Heart Chakra
Located at the center of a person's chest and involves both the heart and circulatory system in the body. This one is closely associated with our sense of touch and also how our body feels as well as how other bodies feel. It also is the way a person is believed to recognize what love is.
Solar Plexus Chakra
Involves not just a person's solar plexus but also their muscle and skin as well an organs that are found in the solar plexus area, such as the pancreas. This charka is closely associated to a person's eyesight as well as who they truly are and what kind of ego they have.
Orange Chakra
This charka is found in the center of a person's abdomen and is associated with not just the sex organs in a person but also their reproductive system as well. It is also associated with our sense of taste and what we feel emotionally. Plus it is associated with the kinds of food we like and dislike and our sexual feelings as well.
Root Chakra
The final charka which is located in the perineum, but also is associated with our teeth, bones and the lymph system. Along with the lower extremities of the body and our nose and the system in our body which eliminates waste. It is concerns itself with the way we smell things and how we learn to survive and make sure that we are secure and are able to trust others.
Through the use of Chakra meditation a person is able to focus on and then alleviate any stress or issues to these particular areas of the body. It is through this kind of meditation a person is able to achieve a much more peaceful state of mind.
